ACR Chicago is pleased to announce a pilot session of its new Mediation Practice Group Program!
The Mediation Practice Group is intended to give mediation practitioners an opportunity to learn, practice, and hone their skills through simulated mediations.
Each participant will mediate and serve as a role player. The first session will be coached by Mac Steele, ACR Chicago's Immediate Past President. Mac is a mediator, trainer, and coach with 8 years of experience mediating a wide range of disputes, including family, housing, youth, schools, branch court, and civil disputes.
The first session will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014, from 10am-1pm. It will be held at the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago (11 East Adams St., Suite 500). The cost is $60 per participant.
Registration is limited to 4 people. Additionally, the program is limited to ACR members who have completed a 40 hour mediation skills training, or any substantially similar program.
Assuming this program generates sufficient interest, it will be offered on a regular basis in the future as an opportunity for ACR Chicago's members to build and hone their skills.
